This is where I keep the lunch combos we actually use with four kids — the ones that hold up in backpacks and don’t come back untouched. I build most boxes around a simple formula: protein + fiber + fruit/veg, with one fun item so it feels like a win. Light Meal: Pita Pocket & Veggies

This has become one of our go-tos sandwiches. The kids choose pita pocket over any other bread, so we make a batch of pita pockets every couple of weeks. Quick to put together, and reliable enough to reset us wherever we are.
